UPS - Delivered to wrong street and wrong postcode

Woke-up this morning to discovered my 96 years-old Mum had accepted a gigantic parcel. But I hadn't ordered anything like it in size. I looked at the single label on the parcel. I saw the wrong person's name, the wrong postcode and the wrong street name. Did a Google on UPS, saw a number and rang 0345-7 877 877. The *** BT-type menu was irritating. Pressed 7 for additional choices then had to repeated say 'NO' to *** questions. Eventually UPS's computer system got the message and transferred my call to a Human Being. All he could do was to promise 'the warehouse' would call me within an hour. UPS called and said they can't collect their parcel today because the driver is "in another area" and what size was it ? The parcel is 58 x 44 x 22 cm. I'll visit the correct delivery address and ask them to come around in a car to collect their gigantic parcel. I have photographed the delivery label but won't exhibit it because it has someone's name and address on it. Needless to write, I am not impressed by this USA company. European standards are much higher.

Just had my 3rd microwave delivered by ups. The first one was returned dented on delivery. The second one we opened the box because once again the box was so damaged and the delivered man dropped it from a foot in front of me so I checked before he left. The item was ok so I kept it. The next day we were delivered another one by mistake which I refused, the bottom of the box was hanging open and other dents once again to the outside box. The ups lady said her company loads them like that and there no room in her truck so they get damaged. I would never use this company for any personal items.

Everyone who had a single experience with UPS knows that they are awful, we never use them to send our parcels but we might deal with them when we order online. There are a lot of notes here which explains the delivery service is terrible and I dont want to explain my story to confirm that, I just want to mention that their supporting team and customer service is worse than the delivery system. I was talking to a manager and asked for a reference number , she said we dont have any, I gave them a call a day later and next one provided me a ref number. There was a guy there who was very disrespectful and when I asked his name to refer to that conversation , he simply hanged off. Accept the fact that the company that you are dealing with is terrible, you never use them and you dont have any choice cause you ordered it online , and it would be much easier to handle the situation.

Some of the rudest, most careless people ever. I was at home waiting for a package to be delivered. Heard the buzzer go off to my apartment and ran from my room to the front door to let the delivery guy in. Unlocked the door, heard the click signifying that it had unlocked, and waited for them to come up to my door and deliver the package as per usual. Next think I know, I hear the ups truck starting. At first confused that it wasn't them I went downstairs to look and see if they left it outside. Nope. They left a note saying sorry we missed you. Now, keep in mind I ran from my room in my small apt to the front door which took maybe 10 seconds at most. You're telling me you didn't hear the loud click of the automatic lock unlocking or you just buzzed and left? Or maybe it was sheer laziness that you didn't want to walk to the second floor as has been done every time before? I don't know what more I could've done besides run onto my balcony and yell after them to wait up. This has become a common reoccurrence lately for packages I have delivered by ups. If you're going to deliver a package then do it. Otherwise let me know to drive to pick it up from the post office. Keep in mind delivery time is consistently between 11am and 1pm where I live meaning if I want my package via delivery I need to take time off of work. The least you could've done was leave it out front as it contained no valuables and I was very clearly home. Since this isn't the first time its happened all I can say is, what a joke ups has become lately. From now on I plan on picking up my packages from the post office.

Angry, Bitter UPS driver

April 2, 2015 - I was at home and the buzzer went off. I answered and the person on the other end said 'UPS, package for [NAME]'. I said I would come down to let him in and hung up. Buzzer rang again. I answered, person on the other end said 'Open the door', I did. 15 or so seconds later I heard a thud on the door. I opened the door to see the parcel laying on the floor and the UPS driver scurrying away. March 16, 2016 - Buzzer went off, I answered and let UPS driver in. I waited for him to make his way up to my floor and opened the door. He glared at me while giving me the package. I smiled and said thanks. He scowled at me without uttering a word. May 4, 2016 - Buzzer went off, I answered. Voice on other end said 'Package for [NAME]'. I said I would come down to pick up parcel. 15 seconds later I was at the front door. Driver had taken off and just left a delivery attempt notice.

Why is it every time I have ups package it's takes all day to get it (8:00)pm. Ordering things using fedex and the postal service on the other hand my packages are there first thing in the morning.

I have had an experience that is unbelievable! I payed 18.00 to have a small less than 1 pound tied to my gate this package was supposed to be rushed air service. I find my little package tied to a gate which tracking said it was delivered at 9:13 am . This is a ripoff UPS don't care and Sears parts said its UPS! Bottom line I payed for a service I didn't get! Next time I will use Postal service or I will find someone else to order from!!!! Never too old to learn!

UPS sucks. I scheduled pickups THREE TIMES THIS WEEK AND TWO TIMES THEY HAD NOTHING IN THE SYSTEM AND NO SHOW. WHEN YOU TRY TO THEN GET THE US, YOU ONLY GET THE PHILLIPINES. I HATE THIS AND UPS. UPS YOU SOLD OUT YOUR OWN COUNTRY. PLEASE LEAVE THE USA AND LET THE USA POST OFFICE TAKE OVER SHIPPING IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY. I THINK ALL THE UPS BOARD MEMBERS SHOULD TRY CALLING UPS TO COME PICK UP A PACKAGE AND THEN SEE WHAT THEY GET; THE PHILLIPINES.
