Ups Priority Delivery Service Review

They charge people for 1 to 2 day priority shipping but dont priority ship. Package should have been here friday. Still in california...we are in michugan. How much money are they making by doing that? Not the first time this has happened either. See why we shouldnt pricatize our postal service completely? Rich jerks trying to get richer not caring how they impact others lives.

Driver did not bother reading instruction left on the back of the info to deliver to the neighbour just left another notice. Had to drive 50 miles to ups centre to collect parcel.

For continues three days, I waited for my package to be delivered. For first two days without any bell or knock on the door, I see an email which said we missed you. We tried to deliver but you were not there. I waited whole time and no body came and it said you were not there. For third day, and kept my main door open, put a big paper outside saying, "I am home, waiting for UPS". No body came that day also and next day I get another email saying, we missed you, you were not home. This is disgusting service by UPS.

Extremely unsatisfied with the service. Would definitely not recommend. The delivery man did not bother ringing the door bell and rushed off despite me calling him over. Left piece of paper with no location stated where my parcel should be collected from. Worry service ever! Failed to follow the delivery instruction wnd extremely rude staff.

I've lived at the same address for more than 30 years and have been getting packages delivered by FedEx, UPS and USPS. I've only ever had trouble with UPS. Lost packages, severely damaged packages, packages thrown into the drainage ditch or left tied to fence posts...

I got their bad weather report too, but after looking at the weather all over the country, it's clear skies all the way. I'm don't care so much that they're behind (it happens), but to lie about the reason... very unprofessional.

Details
sent a package on tuesday going from Edmonton to Armstrong Bc 8 hour drive.. told it would be there wedneday, then i get an update has been a problem,, fine will arrive thursday,,, thursday morning get a message will be there friday.. so it takes 3 days for priority...

They don't care about you. Your a receiver, they only deal with the shipper.

Which in this day and age of Internet online shopping isn't making much sense. Once you pay Costco or Amazon or whoever for shipping, I'm sorry to say it's already too late. They got you and there is nothing you can do about it. Also forget the 800 number.

Track down a driver and ask them for the number for the local center. Most drivers are sympathetic to customers, it's just their hands are tied and they live in perpetual fear of losing their job.

UPS

I sent my friend 2 hats he receive the box. The box look like it had been opened and retaped. When he opened box only i hat was in there and it was cut on the brim. I did send the box uninsured. I contacted UPS they got the film out of the last drivers truck and there he was open the box took out the packer hat retaped box. I have never heard from UPS on this subject. So I send my friend out a 2nd box of hats this time insured, this time delivered with gray paint all over box and hats. I will never use UPS again.

UPS - Missed Perishable shipment

I ordered Craw fish that were shipped as a overnight shipment, that should have been delivered on 5/27/2016. This was out tenth year of ordering from this craw fish company, who until this year shipped via Fed-x. UPS decided that the plane in Louisville was to full, so they rescheduled the delivery of the perishable craw fish for the next day. Mistake number one, they will not keep a second day. So the next day I get an update that the spoiled package would be delivered the next day (Saturday). I tracked the package and it arrived at the USP facility close to where we live at 9:00 AM Saturday morning, and it proceeded to set there for the next delivery truck on Tuesday 5/31/2016. Now I see that USP delivered the spoiled box of craw fish before lunch on 5/31/2016. The one good thing I did was accept a refund from the craw fish company, instead of having them reship a second shipment that would have ended up setting next to the first box at the local depot since they did not make any Saturday deliveries. On Friday it took 4 hours to contact the craw fish company, it seems that I was not the only one who did not receive their shipment. Thank you UPS!

I ordered furniture at a store and when it got delivered I was told that he could not bring my shipment inside because he is "just the delivery guy, not the furniture guy". I was also told it was more than 12 feet AWAY! BUT he was more like 5 feet away from the door. He also left trash outside and even put all the boxes where it was blocking an exit door... I called customer service and a representative told me I had to get on the truck and get my own package down. I thought to myself this has to be a joke. I guess this is how UPS TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS. I SHOULD HAVE USED FEDEX.
