UPS in Saint Louis, Missouri - Guaranteed 8AM Next Day Air Delivery means NOTHING

Spent a large amount of money to send a very small package that absolutely had to be there the next day. It was only a state away and any time the next day would have worked, but to ENSURE it arrived, we paid the substantial increase to guarantee 8AM delivery by the next day. This left us to assume that if it did not for some crazy reason make it there by 8AM as GUARANTEED, that it would at least trickle in the same day. Nope. Upon calling them at 9AM I was told that the package never even left the facility in the state it was mailed from. I cna't even drive to the local facility to pick it up! How can you seriously mess something up THAT bad? Likely the only package of the day even marked with the crazy 8AM next day delivery option and it is not even put on the first truck!? UPS just lost a ton of business as I will be spreading this like wildfire. I'd never trust them with a thing ever again.

The UPS

IT looks like the esteemed UPS is as bad as the rest of them.OH excuse me FeD EX and all the rest of the shippers .Those clowns at UPS have taken to yelling at me whenever I don't put up with their ***.If I am sitting watching TV they will yell at me through the front door.It looks like those jerks fully expect me to greet them and thank them for their "service".Which pardon me stinks..of course I get upset but they are jerks who have a very poor track record.I am sure someone will try to get ahold of me explaining their position

I moved into a new place Wednesday July 27, 2016. I ordered a television which was due to be delivered by UPS to my new place on Thursday July 28, 2016. After checking my email Monday July 25 I saw that the tv was on the truck for delivery that day. I called UPS immediately to ask them to hold the item. I was offered the option of calling back Wednesday and having it redelivered Thursday. I called the customer service number and was told that it was being put into the system for delivery on Thursday and that i would receive a call Wednesday evening to confirm. No one called Wednesday evening so I called at 7:15 am Thursday to ensure that the package was set for delivery. I was assured by another customer rep that he saw the note and that the package was on the truck for delivery that day. He assured me that the system just hadn't updated yet so I wouldnt see this if i checked online. After waiting all day and not having any UPS driver come with my package I called again at 5:00 pm Thursday. I was told that the package was on the truck for delivery and that they had up until 7:00 pm to deliver it. I waited until 8:00 pm and no delivery! I called again and asked for a supervisor and was first told that they showed in the system that I was supposed to pick it up! The supervisor then said that he saw the note and he isn't sure why it wasn't delivered Thursday but he'll put it in the system to be delivered Friday. Friday morning at 7:30 I received a call from the local UPS office and was told that they definitely had the tv and it would definitely be on the truck for delivery that day. I had to get someone to come and sit and wait for them. When I got home at 3 o'clock there was still no tv. I waited until 4:45 to call UPS. The rep said that they would deliver it Monday August 1, 2016 because they needed to charge additional handling to the company that the tv came from! I immediately asked for a supervisor. It took 30 minutes for a supervisor to get on the line who then proceeded to first tell me that i was supposed to pick it up, then said they would deliver it Monday, and that perhaps I should have had them deliver it to my job or elsewhere! I asked to speak with his supervisor to which he said I can give you another supervisor but he has the same info I have and is going to tell you the same thing - we'll deliver it Monday. I said i don't want someone on your level, i want your boss, your supervisor. He puts me on hold which lasts about 20 minutes. When he comes back he says that he called the local facility and was told that they cannot find the package! I was livid and demanded again to speak to his supervisor. I was placed on hold AGAIN. This time upon returning the rep/supervisor says that the local office just called back and they found it, that it was in a container, and that the driver is usually in my area between noon and 2 pm so my tv would be delivered Monday at that time. I finally just accepted this because by this time i had been on the phone with them for 90 minutes. I honestly didnt believe that they would deliver it because i had been told that by no less than 5 different UPS workers so I made arrangements to go to the facility which was closing in 90 minutes and pick it up. I called to confirm which facility it was at and was told that i would have to wait for someone to call me back within the hour to make sure it was ok for me to pick it up! I was furious at the idea that I couldnt pick up something that I had purchased so I asked for a supervisor again. While on hold for a supervisor the local office calls and says they got a message that i wanted to pick the tv up that day and that i shouldn't come down because they still couldn't locate the tv! I said but a supervisor told me that your facility called while i was on the phone and said they found it and even gave me details. The local worker said she was sorry but that just wasn't true because they cannot call specific reps on the phone and they don't give a time guarantee because of the possibility of traffic and other driving issues. She went on to say that i would have to wait until Monday to see if the tv turns up or if they would have to start an investigation. Does UPS tell its representatives to lie? How do you lose a 50" television? I have lost all confidence in UPS and will never use them again by choice. If the place i order from uses UPS i will not order from them. I'm sorry that I have no photo to attach but I DON'T HAVE A TV!

VERY DISAPPOINTED W/UPS DELIVERY

I ordered 'Well Stationery Cards' for my wedding for my guest to sign. I received the other two packages except this one. With the first two packages I ordered, they attempted to delivery to me in person BUT because I work, they ultimately delivered at a near by UPS store (which I was appreciative of). With this package, I had waited at least 2 weeks for. UPS attempted to deliver it to my home at least 3x's. Well of course they weren't going to catch me because I WORK!! Therefore, I had hoped that they would have been smart enough to deliver at the same location as the other two packages. Uh no!!!! So after several calls to UPS customer service, trying to set up 'mychoice' to have the package delivered at my local UPS store, calling to see why it wasn't delivered like I had scheduled, and so forth, I became very frustrated. I also spoke with a customer service reps and a manager. Both CSRs had 'smart mouths.' Ultimately, UPS ended up shipping my package back to Davids Bridal. I was so PISSED, I told them to REFUND ME MY MONEY. I'm not sure what's going on with UPS, but I have never this many issues. From now on, I prefer my packages to be shipped by any other company- JUST NOT UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED... HEY, guess what, I still need my cards because I have a wedding in 5 weeks....

Ups Delivery Service Review from Homestead, Florida

I moved to Miami from Toronto a year ago and I had my parents ship out a total of 6 boxes I had packed with my personal belongings in it. They made it all the way down south with no issues. The five of the six boxes arrived in time. The driver tells me that my sixth box (total sum value of appx $14k) will be coming on the following business day (being Monday since my boxes got delivered Friday). Monday comes around and still nothing so I call Customer Service n they open an investigation. I called almost every single day for that whole month to keep track of the investigation. These customer reps literally read off a script given to them to stall you every time no matter what you say to them. Either theyll tell you something different and get your hopes up (but for all u know theyre b.sing to make u lay off for a while) or they dont know *** I dont understand how every single rep can say something different when they are all trained to the same extent as each other. Anyways, after 2 weeks of hustling to try to get in touch with the person in charge of the investigation, I finally got a call from Jennifer. She asked me for details of my contents (size, brands, colors etc) n mind you, my box was pretty unique because a) it had used clothes in it that I can describe and provide pictures for, b) i had Indian clothes from my wedding packed in zipper bags underneath n c) i packed a canvas collage with my pictures on it. So you just cant go wrong with identifying the box. She gets the details off me n disappears for a week. Then she finally calls n tells me that so far they have found nothing. The box was last scanned physically in Jacksonville FL. According to tracking, it made it to Miami but never got physically scanned so there was no way of knowing if it really did get there or not. Luckily, I got a friend working at the hub where my pckg was allegedly being kept. He gave me the inside detail of what goes on in there. The packages in most trailers come damaged and broken. Which makes sense because the other 5 boxes were pretty beat up, but things were still intact except one frame that broke but whatever. He said that hes seen 80 lb pckgs sitting on 10 lb boxes in these trailers, boxes unorganized, just thrown around. More than likely, my box being a heavy 50 lb box is probably badly damaged. Damaged boxes are taken out of trailer n labelled n thrown aside. They dont scan it because if they do then theyre liable for the damages so they just take pictures n leave it on the side to sit there until further notice. Now if the box is damaged but contents are in tact, theyll repackage it but in my case, its my lifes worth of clothes in there n theres no way of knowing whats missing n whats not. So acc to my friend, they'd rather pay u than release ur package to u for fear that there will be a lawsuit filed for missing items. They dont touch it, they dont repckg it. They let it sit there till 5 months r up n then theyll auction it. AND NO ONE WILL EVER ADMIT TO YOU THAT THEY HAD THE PACKAGE BUT IT WAS DAMAGED. Thats what *** me off. Im willing to sign a waiver for the box n take it with me as is, but atleast tell me you have it. This Jennifer simply said they found 4 lost boxes n none of them r mine. I call bulls***. They lose thousands of packages on a daily n they only look in the lost n found section, not the damaged section. So the investigation is bogus. She makes a call from Virginia n relies on some incompetent lazy worker to tell her that he looked everywhere in that 25000 sq ft facility for that one box n couldnt find it. And she relays that info to me. No hard work done n im sitting here going into serious anxiety n depression thinking about it. Now im trying to get in touch with Corporate n the media ..anyone who can help me get my box out. All 6 boxes came together in one trailer the whole way . I know my 6th box did too. They just never scanned it because it was damaged n no one will touch it so no one will know its there. Im lucky enough to atleast know that much. I feel bad for those who wont even get that far n will eventually quit after relying on those fools sitting at customer service to just tell them that their package disappeared into thin air. Ridiculous. Do not use UPS. They only try to save their *** n if it means compromising your property, they will do just that. They've closed my case with absolutely no closure to me other than that they dont have it. When asked what couldve possibly happened, they blamed the CBP for mishandling labels on the box when it first arrived on the border. How ridiculous is that story? Theyll say anything but admit that they messed up. And being a person who suffers from anxiety and chronic depression, UPS has done nothing short of giving me grievances. I just want my box back. No money can replace the emotional value of the contents in that box. My wedding dresses are in there and they were custom made from abroad. I am currently living on 2 months of clothes (some that I brought with me and others that I bought here). Im running out of options. Plz help me!

For the last 3 weeks I've been getting my packages delayed and they give made up excuses like a derailed train in Phoenix . Come on ups ships by airplane.

I figured out what they're doing they are holding my packages and bundling them together to save them money.

I pay them good money to get my packages on time they can't deliver. Seems like ups is going down hill what a shame

They are very inflexible with delivery. I had to call Mcm and UPS back and forth because UPS has no idea what they are doing. One gentleman helped me greatly by letting me know the eta for when my package would arrive the next day a different dude says that he isn't able to do that. They are not trained very well and will tell you one thing and someone will tell you something else. You go on their website and see their slogan for ease of mind on deliveries but it's quite the opposite. Very *** service

UPS in Woodbridge, Ontario - Worst service i encountered

i might as well add my name to this list of unhappy customers. i had a cheque sent out to my business and after waiting till 7 pm it never arrived.after speaking and waiting another day the agent told me package has been lost and an investigation has started and will take up to 8 business days.i couldn't wait that long so i got the shipper to cancel cheque and reissue another.they were gladly able to do that and even sent it overnight express to be received next day delivery by 10:30 am.guess what it's not here spoke to a supervisor and they said it hasn't been scanned at the delivery centre yet.computer tracking says delivery should be on time.maybe just my luck 2 parcels 2 losses within 5 days.someone is either not doing his job or just don't give a ***.speaking to an agent on phone after waiting 20 minutes just notes down your complaint on her computer and you hope for the best.i think an 85 cent stamp at the postoffice would have saved me all this hassle.i hope a ups manager is reading all these complaints and just don't laugh it off and be just as irrisponsible as his employees.
