UPS NOT on time delivery

Where to start. Received a delivery notice sorry we missed you. This was a business that is known closed till 10 am, Driver left the notice at 9:30 even though the hours are posted right next to where he stuck the notice. Phoned UPS at 10:10 am and received a call back withing the hour from local (DARTMOUTH NS). to assure me the package would be delivered before closing at 6:00 pm. Waited 5:45 pm and rephoned only to be told there is still 15 minutes left before 6:00 pm. Waited till 6:30 pm no sign of UPS. Arrived next morning to another delivery notice again left at 9:30 am Sorry we missed you. Again phoned the national number as no way to phone the local branch only to be told SORRY guess the driver did not deliver it. Again assured by the national number it would be delivered today and would receive a call back from local branch to verify this within the hour. 4 hours later no package, no call back. Again phoned the national number to be told it SHOULD arrive today and it has been escalated to a driver supervisor local. I'm also told that is who it was escalated to yesterday. NOt holding any hope this package will ever arrive. WORST customer service ever, obviously quantity and not quality is all that matters here. And to belive the local drivers are being paid $27.00 per hour and up UNREAL

Ups Pick Up Service Review from Lancaster, New York

A package was going to be delivered while I was at work, and I was unable to tell if it would require a signature. I saw the option online to have the package delivered to a UPS Store instead. I chose this option so I could pick it up after work and not have to worry about it getting sent back to a sorting facility if I wasn't at home to sign for it. After choosing to redirect the package to a store, the tracking says it'll deliver to the store by the end of the day, but doesn't seem to know where the package actually is. I become unsure about this redirect option I chose, and consider cancelling my request, but don't find any option to online. I check with the store I redirected it to at the end of the day, and they don't have the package. Only after calling UPS do I know that redirecting the package added a day onto my shipping time, since apparently redirecting the package from my home to a UPS store 5 minutes away was such a complicated system process that it warranted another day of shopping. Now the day's over, the tracking has even more vague information as to where my package actually is, and that option to cancel my redirect request I'd searched for all day online finally shows up; right when I completely don't need it to. I will avoid using UPS in the future if I can help it. What a poor, cumbersome process. If redirecting your package needlessly delays it a day, there NEEDS to be a notification of that when you choose that option.

The UPS website has a shipping time and cost calculator on their website. If you had used it, you might have seen that another shipping level might have gotten there at the same time for less money.

At the very least, you would have seen that Friday-Tuesday is the correct time frame for 3 day select.

Instead, you caused yourself grief by not knowing what a "business day" is. No sympathy.

Shipped 4 packages NDA by UPS and insured them all. 2 arrived the next day at my vendor busted open and repacked, the following day the other two arrived damage and repacked. All items damaged and beyond repair. Filed claim with UPS. They sent 4 damage claim tags out and picked them up. Returned 2 to me, delivered one to someone who shipped back to by vendor who had to ship to me. They LOST one package and here 3 weeks later want me to file ANOTHER claim for box I already filed claim on. I have been called by 4 different departments, 7 times to have them email me another from to file a claim on 1 box again. They sent out rep who took pictures yesterday after I took pictures Friday and emailed them to ANOTHER department. Shipped these packages on July 9th, 2016 and still $3k out of pocket, still going in circles with UPS. WHAT a joke. Appears UPS doesn't have a competent person over any of the departments that handle claims. Even asked to speak with supervisor got a guy named "Kevin" he was less competent than his subordinates.

Details
Package was suppose to be delivered 7/25/16 and still haven't receive package. Today date is 8/5/16. Every time I call they give me excuses like label and address was wrong. They will deliver tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and no package delivered. I spoken to 3 different supervisors and still to no avail.

Received a notice that 3 attempts had been made to make a delivery and the box 'your action is required' is checked off with no further explanation. Contacted the 'help' center and was promptly asked by an automated voice to enter my InfoNotice # only to be notified by a Siri wannabe that my package doesn't exist. Ummm, how are there three attempts made with a non-existent package? Get through to an agent finally and was told that my package was sitting at a location conveniently 40 mins across the city, absolutely in the opposite area of where I live. Was told there wasn't a location any closer to me and this was the only place to receive my delivery. Fine. I called back several hours later to absolutely ensure that the package was at that location and also checked on the time the facility opened. I was told that it was there. Next day, make my trek across the city and waited for 9 am. Once inside, I was told the package was actually at a different location, which.... Sigh, was nearer to my address. Hahahah. I was informed that I could drive there and pick it up. I explained, between tiny head explosions, that I confirmed twice yesterday that the package was here and that I would not be driving two hours to this other location. I was told to call the 1800 number again to lodge my complaint. Which I did and during this conversation, I was told someone would call me in the next hour with the whereabouts of my package. At this point, I proceeded out of town as I was on my way to my vacation. I did receive a call and was informed that indeed my package was there at the second location. I could come pick it up at anytime. I explained that I was now going out of town and could they reroute the package to my new location and could they please do so free of charge. I was kindly informed that she was not able to do this and yes, I would have to call the 1800 number AGAIN. Which I did. I had to explain my story AGAIN. I was asked not to cut off the person who was trying to help me when in fact, I was speaking on my cell phone which sometimes has a delay. I tried to explain that I wanted this package for the weekend. He kindly told me, after I had explained that I was now out of the city, that I could pick my package up at the second location. Completely frustrated. The solution, in the end, was to ship to my current location without charge. Fine. But I won't have it until Tuesday. I know, first world problems but I am disappointed and frustrated. I will never use UPS again and I will tell my friends and associates the same.

I ordered car parts from a dealership I know well, the parts were scanned and picked up on a Friday. UPS showed 3 days guaranteed by end of day delivery. That should have been the following Wednesday according to the time cost calculator AND the map they provide. As of Thursday afternoon still no part! The customer service rep insisted they received it late from the shipper (UPS didn't process until Tuesday!!), and said 3-5 days is the 'correct' time frame for ground shipping between the 2 locations despite everything the website shows! No apology, no offer of a refund, just basically that's the way it is!! NEVER AGAIN will I use UPS and I will make sure everyone I know will hear of this. This was the second time UPS has done this to me. A previous experience with overnighting a box of food that cost me over $75 to ship took a week to deliver! Again no apology or refund. This was the last time there will be NO strike 3.

UPS in Edmonton, Alberta - No deliver notice

I had a item that I bought on eBay being shipped from the UK; very expensive shipping costs, I might add. The problem I had is that UPS completely failed to give me notice that the package had arrived. By the time I did get a delivery slip, the package had already been returned to sender. I should add that the notice I did get had illegible hand writing that I couldn't make out the date, and checked off that I should pick up my package at a local Access Point... nothing about a final delivery attempt or anything. I tried calling UPS, but they said it was too late to stop the return and I need to contact the seller in the UK. Great. Thanks UPS.
