How is it that a company can only track a package by a tracking number, and not by destination or a sender? I was given the wrong tracking number by the sender, who is across the Nation so I can't get them due to the time change to get a correct number. I spent $500 to get something delivered overnight, and it expires if I don't get it on time. I'm sitting here waiting nearly 12 hours with no truck in sight, nobody at UPS wants to say anything other than sorry I can't help you. I would have a backup system. I would not offer such ***-poor customer service, or an inability to do a reasonably intelligent job keeping track of a package that is in my care, for which I am paid highly to deliver.

My son was in Vancouver and had forgotten his iPod in Calgary. I paid for overnight express to be able to get it to him before he flew out for Japan. I sent the parcel from Cochrane, Alberta to Vancouver on Monday morning July 25. He was flying out on Thursday afternoon July 28. It was recieved in Burnaby on Tuesday morning. The parcel was not delivered to the address until Thursday afternoon. He did not recieve it as he was gone. I paid to overnight, why would it take 3 days to deliver? Then I had to pay for it to be shipped back to me. With another company and then pay to ship it to him overseas. All I have asked is to get my money back that I paid to UPS. All I am getting is the runaround. It has been over a month and still waiting for a response. I would like to get this settled. I also will be posting my complaint on line as a warning to others.

UPS in Pickens, South Carolina - No delivery schedule

UPS tries to save money by scheduling deliveries and pickups in their best interest. Deliver to my business some days by 11 am, the next day 2:30 pm. Today it's 4 AND STILL NO SHOW. TRACKING INFO is a JOKE. On truck scheduled delivery by closing. You could set your your clock by UPS deliveries and pickups in past. Logistics is a fancy way of saying SCREW THE CUSTOMER and try to make shareholders an extra nickel. There actions cost them a $120,000 account in 2010. UPS was once in it for customer service, now it's greed like all large companies. Profit is the bottom line not customer satisfaction. UPS-Undeniable Poor Service

A month has passed since I filed my complaints and I have had four phone calls from UPS representatives. The last, Michael, two weeks ago, said my shipping fees of $32.75 would be refunded in a week.

i-Parcel's funny and ugly Korean translation of its shipping advice and customs clearance notice. They never change the Korean translations even with my repeated request, which means I-Parcel di not care about Korean customers??? This is about i-parcel's incorrect and funny translation for Korean customers of Amazon. When an Amazon oder is shipped, i-parcel sends a message about the shipment and customs clearance both in English and Korean. But the translated Korean sounds really funny. I have emailed to Amazon and i-Parcel several times so far but they never change it. UPS has a formal policy against doing anything extra to correct their mistakes. Once they fail to deliver a package on time, it is already late and they see no reason to try to make it any less late, so the package simply goes back into their regular process to be delivered a few days later whenever they get around to it. A package that they failed to deliver on Friday, due entirely to their own failure to bother loading the package onto their truck, will NOT be delivered on Saturday even though they do have local deliveries going out, but the package will be held until Monday, when they might remember to put it on the truck.

Well, this morning I got woken up by a phone call from UPS here in Louisville - to make the standard scripted apology - and to explain that despite the 8:28AM Friday scan saying my package was Out For Delivery, actually no one bothered loading that package on any outgoing truck. They knew all along that the package had not actually been put on any truck, but no one bothered entering that mistake into the computer. So every time I called UPS misnamed "Customer Service" they keep telling me that my package was on the truck and that the truck was still out making deliveries so my package absolutely positively would be delivered on Friday. They gave me the same story at 5:30 and again at 7:30; and again at 9PM, and at 10:30, and even at 11:30 they were still giving me the BS story that the package was on the truck and that truck was still out making deliveries. Finally at midnight when the date rolled over the computer automatically changed the status from "Out For Delivery" to "In Transit" and pushed the delivery date back three additional days to Monday afternoon. Apparently they forget to put packages on the truck so often that doing a scan on all the packages they didn't bother loading would be too much work for the poor kids. So as of Friday morning, UPS Louisville Dispatch KNEW that the package was not really out for delivery and KNEW that they were just going to keep it and all the other "Ground" packages that they didn't bother loading and hope that someone might bother loading them on Monday. The lady informed me that UPS has a "Policy" to NOT deliver Friday packages on Saturday, so anything they screw up on Friday has to wait until at least Monday. But the nice lady at Louisville Dispatch explained that it wasn't UPS's fault because "we have a lot of packages going through the building." This is the second time in a row that I have had a UPS package that was due for a Friday delivery and which was "On Time" all the way up until Friday morning, but then actually didn't get delivered until Monday or Tuesday simply because UPS screwed up and they have a policy against fixing their mistakes. I am tired of UPS's gross incompetence, non-competitive attitude, and total lack of any professionalism or integrity. And I am tired of dealing with vendors who say "We're sorry but once we ship the package we can't be responsible for UPS's mistakes." As of now, I have a policy against dealing with vendors whose only delivery option is UPS - and I will inform all such vendors exactly why I refuse to do and further business with them.

UPS in Buford, Georgia - The customer is no longer #1

Although my son's classes do not begin until Monday (9/12), he returned to college yesterday (9/9), so he would be there to receive the bedroom furniture that was scheduled for delivery in the evening. At 7:30pm, the UPS Tracking site still showed the package would be delivered within the next 30 minutes...Unfortunately it never arrived yesterday. Now the UPS Tracking site shows "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later." Since delivery information was available yesterday (although incorrect), I called UPS Customer Service for more information...And as we have come to expect from U.S. based companies that consider cost reduction to be more important than customer service, it sounded like my call was routed to an India based call center (loud background noise, heavy accents, etc.). When I inquired about the package, I was informed UPS did not have enough trucking capacity to fulfill their deliveries yesterday!? That's right, UPS did not have enough trucks to handle their customer orders...Thank goodness Amazon does not run out of shipping boxes. Normally this would not be a big issue, except the shipment included my son's mattress. Although the shipment is less than 12 miles from his residence, I just learned the UPS facility in Savannah (GA) is CLOSED on weekends. So when UPS fails to meet their delivery commitments on Friday, they will not return to work until Monday...Even when they fail their customers (vendors and consumers).

Lost my parcel , delivered to wrong address, took 4 days to recover, no depot in Aberdeen area, closest depot 100 miles. Closed at weekends with no delivery to Aberdeen, poor access to customer support , etc etc. Get your act together UPS you are doing a severe disservice to customers in Aberdeen. Please : locate a local depot to allow pick up. improve local telephone access for support, use drop off points as stated , give options for neighbour drop off, delivery at weekends , you are global organisation its simple , even Hermes provide a x 100 better service ??????????

UPS in Langley, British Columbia - Trying to double charge me for COD Fees

I ordered a cowboy hat from a place in the US and I live in Canada. When the hat was finally delivered, it took 6 weeks, there was an unannounced COD Charge of about $15.00. I couldn't get the hat without paying the money so I paid the delivery guy and he took off. A month later I get an invoice in the mail for the COD amount. Hello *** it can't be delivered without the delivery guy receiving the COD amount. It was delivered, UPS knows it was delivered, and the delivery guy received the money. I don't have a receipt of course. How many people keep a $15 receipt. *** beyond belief. Then I get a phone call and I missed it. So I called the number back to clear things up. After 30 minutes on 'Ignore' I hung up and I won't be calling back. So whenever you order anything, make sure that it isn't being delivered by UPS. I find it a little mind boggling that completely dysfunctional organizations like this are able to survive. Anyway, cross these guys off your list forever. They are the bottom of the barrel and completely useless.
