UPS in Austin, Texas - Poor delivery of a package

We had an on-line order from Fry's that was a box containing 1000 feet of CAT5e cable delivered via UPS on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. It was delivered sometime after 4:30 PM. The delivery person did not notify us of the delivery (we were home), and they left the delivery at the bottom of our stairs, right by our driveway. We live on a hill so our garage is at that level, but our front door is up a set of steps. Appears the steps were just too much for the delivery person to carry the box up to our front door. This left the box down below & subject to being taken by anyone who happened to notice it, or subject to the weather. Luckily for us, we found it around 9:30 PM when we just happened to go out front. (And it DID rain that night at our house.) With such sloppy delivery I can understand why so many packages disappear. If they couldn't bring themselves to carry the package up to us, they could at least have walked to the front door to ring the doorbell and tell us what they were doing so that we senior citizens could heft the somewhat heavy package into the garage immediately. Very disappointed in UPS.

UPS Delivery driver littering the street with cigarette butt

On throwing his cigarette butt onto the street I told him to pick it up, he the driver refused, I asked him to please pick the butt up, his reply was I should of said that in the beginning, I appealed to his van mate who declined to get involved on the grounds that he (the driver) was his boss, I signed for the parcel they got into the delivery vehicle and drove off, without picking up the cigarette butt thereby littering the street outside of my house. How would I describe the demeanour of this UPS delivery van driver, to myself it would be surly aggressive. UPS - NOT LOST TAKEN

I have had my UPS prescriptions/Taken lost numerous times and suffered running out of my prescription because I never received it. I personally don't believe they are all being lost, I think the prescriptions are being stolen by employees. I believe UPS employees are taking the medications because they know when it needs a signature to get the prescription most likely is a controlled substance being sent to us Vets and all companies have drug problems in the work force and so does UPS. They need to find the people that are taking our medications and not only fire them but have them prosecuted too!

UPS in Walsall, Walsall - Disgusting service

My son paid £43 pds for a bag to be picked up at aberdeen train station 2weeks ago for to be delivered to his home and no 1 has a clue what has happined to it .at a cost of nearly £15 pds on his phone . This company has to be the worst delivery company in the uk . He has phoned many times to people who he can't understand and who do not have a clue to what service they are supposed to be delivering.this is the first time we have used ur company and it will certainly be the last .i would not recommend ur company to anyone. Aberdeen to edinburgh normally takes 3hours to drive .do use horse and carts as transport ?

UPS Store # 2003 (packaging NOT per UPS standards)

I paid UPS for shipping and insurance, as well as UPS Store # 2003 for "professional packaging". The item was ruined during shipment, claim denied by UPS due to "insufficient packaging, not per UPS standards." Store # 2003 (W Main and Drake, Kalamazoo, Michigan). Store # 2003 is not honoring their "packaging guarantee" because I printed a label online, instead of at their store. They've found a clever loophole in the system to use inappropriate/insufficient/not per UPS standard materials, knowing they won't pay a claim if damaged. Not acceptable. I will never use UPS or UPS store again. I have filed a claim with the BBB and the State Attorney General. I will see resolution in small claims court against both UPS Store and UPS

UPS said my delivery was in transit and would be delivered today. It is now 07:06 pm and still nothing. In fact the tracking details says it is still in S Korea? How can UPS say the delivery is on time when the tracking hasn't been updated for 2 days?I will never use this company again... I recently had another delivery from an excellent company that told me the day before delivery, 1, the time between 12:44 & 13:44, the delivery drivers name and photo and on the morning of delivery, that I was parcel no. 60 and Carl was delivering parcel no. 53. A map of where he was and he did make the delivery at 13:02. UPS really have so much to learn. I will never understand why companies such as Apple use them. Totally disgusted.

UPS UK customer contact services are appalling. UPS appear to me to have deliberately setup systems to prevent customers contacting them and registering a complaint. They appear to dictate to customers when a package will be delivered then don’t deliver on the day you check the tracing on line which says the next day they don’t come or if they come don’t leave a not to say they came this customer service is beyond belief why are companies still using UPS to distribute their packages? UPS appear to me to have deliberately setup systems to prevent customers contacting them and registering a complaint. Bill

UPS - Customer service reps quoting rates incorrectly 4 different times

Called UPS on 4 different occasions to get a rate quote to ship a 13ft canoe, and each time made it very clear that it was 13' long and gave them all the dimensions and weight. Each and every time I was given a quote for around $100.00 all 4 service reps gave a number within $5.00 of each other. I spent numerous hours preparing the canoe to be shipped and finally took it down to the service center. The service center said it was too big and had to take it the freight center to ship.(the 4 reps never mentioned that at all) After driving across the valley to where I should have been in the first place I was instructed to call UPS myself and get a rate quote. I told him I had done it 4 times already. UPS freight evidently is a do it yourself shop. They don't weigh or measure anything. So I called th number he gave me and got my quote, $600.00 was what they said. I fell off my chair. Long story short, Customer service reps are very poorly trained, have absolutely no clue as to what can and can't be shipped, especially when I have 4 people telling me the same thing. Wow! Never again! I called UPS again after all this *** and explained my situation. What a waste of time. They have no solutions, they make absolutely no effort to make it right., they don't care is the bottom line. If my business made a mistake I would make it right! It's part of doing business!

UPS in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Worst service EVER

I ordered merchandise online. But instead of UPS scanning it as a pick-up from the merchant...they scanned it as a return. I was charged return postage. Worst of all UPS refuses to speak to the merchant. I get to talk to the merchant who needs UPS info and vise versa...after 3 days working on this- being on hold for up to 25 minutes per call- I quit unless UPS sends me a pay check for doing their work. Never again will I use their "service" and I use the term service very lightly! You really need to review your customer service policies and put yourself in the place of your customers.
