Part of your problem may be the new SUREPOST system that ups uses in conjunction with the postal service. If this is the case and the shipping lables on the packages you recieve say surepost instead of ups ground then your fight is with the companies you are ordering from. They get a cheaper rate to send it as surepost which means that ups does the long distance shipping and delivers it to the post office and the post office does the final delivery.

I been dealing with delivery problems from ups since June. When my specialty pharmacy was changed and they ship ups. One time since June they put the pkg by my frunt door. After calling to day I a now a hostel customer. The said I should switch to fedex.

This same thing continues to happen. They can come to your door to leave the paper to inform you to go to the access point.

If the person can do that, they can ring the BELL/KNOCK on the door. This is HORRIBLE since you pay more for this service.

UPS in Chicago, Illinois - The worst delivery service and customer service!

On 10/17 I received a notice that my package will be at one of access points. I called om 10/18 (Because I had to work and could not call them earlier) to transfer the package to another access point or UPS store because the current one has the same business hours as my work hours and there is no way for me to collect eh package from them (and it is literally across the street from my home, but I work far and before work they are not open yet). So the lady told me that since it did not require signature (why the *** didn't they leave it by my door?!?!?!!?) they can redeliver tomorrow to my address (how about that they should've done that in the first place). Well the next day I didn't see the package, today I will not get that too, and most likely tomorrow! Why? Because it takes 48 hrs to process redeliver request!!!Across the street!

UPS in Cambridge, Ontario - Package not found at pick up depot

There was three delivery attempt (all around 14:00) when I was at work. Called the customer service number after the final attempt and they told me to pick it up at their depot (20 km away). When i went to the depot they said the package is still on the delivery truck. Their customer service surely didn't know the package was not at the depot and send me to drive all the way there anyway. I have received packages by other delivery services and they left it on my back yard or front door when i wasn't home. Why can't UPS do the same?

This company is a poor excuse for a package service they are always late always inconsiderate and very unorganized. They do not communicate with each other and they are very hard to talk to. I have no idea how they have an American flag hanging in front of their building when they apparently do not care about their customers.

Won't be dealing with UPS again.

Ordered an item online without realizing that the shipping service was UPS and that, being in Canada, I'd have to pay *** custom fees in order for it to be delivered. The item was $25. UPS made multiple calls to me asking if I wanted them to be my broker. Fine. The custom fees turned out to be $16, which is ridiculous, almost the same price as the item itself. They tried to deliver to my home three times despite me telling them over the phone that I'd rather pick it up given that I work full time and no one would be home. Got another voicemail message today from them, this time the lady is super pissy and says "you need to let us know if you want this package". Now I have to take more time again to call them and explain I want to pick it up, then take time after work to go and pick it up from who knows where. This has been so time consuming and unnecessary that if any other site I'm shopping at in the future says they ship by ups, I'm going to pass.

Lubbock UPS Manager misinformed about Canadian Customs

I had prepared and packed a box to send to Canada.Filled all the necessary deceleration Canadian custom forms.Manager assured me that there is no duty since the items sent were my grandchildren had left behind when they were visiting me. The package was delayed by 4 days due to customs confusion. I had paid full charge for in time delivery.I had called UPS central and the store manager too.Requested they adjust or refund the charges since the package was delayed and not delivered on time.NO response. I wish that somebody at UPS looks and train the Lubbock store manager properly. Next time I will think twice before I go to this UPS location.

Ordered a phone and had it shipped by UPS. UPS driver made no attempt to deliver it. Put on UPS website that I could pick it up at the UPS store, even though I spent the whole day waiting for the package to be delivered. They said no one was at home. I literally waited all day by my door. Then when I called NOT one person could or would help me. The call center promised me that it would be redelivered by 10:00 am today. It is 10:28 am and they are telling me that if I want my package I can come and get it. That's just about the BEST customer service I've ever encountered (NOT). On-line retailers should stop using UPS. Never been treated this bad by FEDEX.
