DON'T BELIEVE THEM, THEY LIED ABOUT MY DELIVERY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My package was to be delivered Dec 3. Never showed up, but when I checked the tracking on UPS tracking, it was documented by the driver that he attempted to deliver at 8pm on Dec 3 and a person at my business refused the delivery. UPS has now sent my package back to shipper! The interesting thing is I HAVE SURVIELLANCE CAMERAS AND NO UPS DELIVERY WAS EVER ATTEMPTED ! THE DRIVER LIED!!! Called UPS on 12/4 and spoke to rep that said it was a UPS error and that he corrected it and we would have delivery of the package today 12/5. So, I check by calling UPS today 12/5 and they said they sent my package back to the shipper!!! UNBELIEVEABLE THAT THEY KEEP LYING !!!! So, here we are, going up the perverbial corporate customer service ladder of supervisors, all have Middle Eastern accents, and canned responses to this error. Sorry, we can't get your package back. Well, does everyone else think that if UPS sent my package back to the shipper, they have it on another UPS truck or plane???? YES, THEY DO. They don't pay another company to ship back. I will see this thru to the very bitter end to hold them accountable to be truthful and honest and to get their *** TOGETHER!!!! I will win this battle!!!!!

Ups needs to clean house and get rid of dishonest bad drivers stealing and marking packages as delivered when they are not.

Ups Driver took my package and marked it as delivered. Why would he check something delivered and sign. If you weren't stealing the package. I want my package very upset with this company they shouldn't be allowed to sign anything.

UPS Store at Copper Hill Valencia CA Aggressive threatening driver at the store who refused to answer any civil question I had about a lost package like a normal human being. Told me to go *** myself and reached to his glove compartment pretending he was reaching for a weapon. Asked if that scared me. Went in the store as it appeared he dropped off the "lost" package. Outside the store he was waiting for me and was extremely threatening and abusive. Got in my car and left. Reported him the Head Office and filed a complaint. This person should not be delivering to residential houses.

UPS driver turns around in my driveway every day and drives over my grass although I never order anything by them and there is a large paved area on both sides of the street only 100 feet away with plenty of room to turn around. It is damaging grass, the big brown commercial vehicle is hard on the concrete, and I am getting sick of it! I am a commercial delivery driver and I don't put my own work vehicle in the drive! Knock it off UPS!!

A neighbor from waaay down the street had it and called UPS themselves!

Updated by user Sep 24, 2019

After several calls with UPS, I have found their representatives to be very kind and quick with helping me find out what exactly is going on. They were each very helpful.

In the end I had to contact Apple and have them give UPS the O.K. to start an investigation. However, in the meantime I was given the choice of refund or replacement. Whereas the whole situation has been extremely frustrating...

I am feeling taken care of and heard. I am thankful for the ease of the processes to making sure the customer (me) does not become disgruntled & impolite.

Very thankful. $700+ is far far far too much money to be losing for myself.

UPS claims to have attempted delivery of my item, but at the time of this claim... my father and brother were home. We had a plumber at the house. We had a few men working on our yard. There is no way it could’ve been mistaken whether or not someone was home and could sign for my package. At the time of this alleged delivery attempt, my even father remembers seeing a UPS truck across the street! However, no delivery was made ... and no invoice had been left! The following business day would be Monday, and I knew nobody was going to be home to sign for my package. However, but I did not receive an invoice, I couldn’t change the next delivery date! Come Monday, like I said— nobody is home —I receive an alert that my package has been delivered and signed for at my front door! The name used for the signature sounds made-up, but more importantly, NOBODY WAS HOME. Three phone calls later and I still don’t have an answer as to what happened to my package. I was told on my latest phone call I would be receiving one back within the hour. Three hours go by and still nothing! What the heck happened to my package?! Did the driver plan this? Did the driver know it was a brand new iPhone? How does a nonexistent person sign for MY package when NOBODY is even home!? I want answers, UPS! Where is my very expensive package!?!!?

My driver is insane . He was unloading a toilet as he picked it up you could hear the broken glass in the box so i rejected the shipment . The next day he delivered the same broken toilet when nobody was looking just like a sneak . What kind of person dose this ? A sick mentally disturbed person , a dishonest person , a sneaky person . Then i call the main office to let them know they have a nut working for them and they never called me back . I don't want this driver on my property because he is a bad person.

Incompetant employees

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I sent a package from Florida to Ontario, Canada. On UPS website I put in the dimensions and the cost came out to $24.95. When I went to ship it I was told it would be $49.95. Since I was about to go on a Cruise I had no choice to look around and send it with UPS. It has been 9 days and still no package. When I checked my phone for messages I received a call from UPS to call them regarding my package. I was told by the person from UPS that my package will have duties and a brokerage fee of about $40. Since I have a job and won't be home for delivery because they only deliver from 9-6 I was given a toll free number to call and pay the fees by credit card and the driver would leave the package by my door. When I called the toll free number they informed me that the package hasn't cleared customs and that would have to wait till it cleared. When I asked when that would be they said they had no idea it was in Customs hands. My complaint is that every person misinformed me. It started from the UPS store in Hollywood Florida that over charged me and did not inform me about the extra charges and that I would have to wait till the package cleared custom. I was told that the package would be delivered in 3 days it's been 9 days. Then the person who I talked to in Mississauga I was informed about the charges and that I would have to pay Custom and Brokerage fees ( extortion fees since they would not deliver unless I paid these fees ) and since I would not be home for delivery that I needed to call a toll free number and pay for the custom and brokerage fees with a credit card and the package would be left by my door. When I called the toll free number they informed me that the package hasn't cleared customs yet and would have to keep tracking my package till it cleared. I have been given the run around from the minute I decided to use UPS. There incompetence's has been well documented at all levels. They don't care on the frustration that they put there customers through because they are big and don't care that they put others out. I had someone waiting at my home for the package till I came home and there response was that they have been trying to contact me. I told the incompetent employee in Florida that I would be on a Cruise and won't have access to my phone. When I told the next person in Mississauga that I was on a Cruise and didn't have access to my phone she said that wasn't there problem and to call the toll free number to pay for the fees. I have learned my lesson and I will never use UPS or any online merchant who uses them. I was ok with paying the initial $50 for the 3 day service but I'm not ok with the attitude that was given to me plus all the misinformation that I was given. Now I have no choice but to wait for UPS to deliver my package. ***

Friday, a UPS driver parked in the middle of my road. I was leaving to get my child at school and politely asked him to move his truck.

Instead, he took packages out and started walking up my road away from his truck. He then stopped and turned and yelled sand your *** road and maybe you wouldnt be blocked in. Not only was I late to get MY FIVE YEAR OLD, I was very upset by the way he belittled me in front of my son. I sand my road when I know I have packages coming, he knows that.

Shame on his behavior and shame on my neighbor for not making sure he was safe.

I was stunned to be yelled at over something I had nothing to do with, all I needed was to get my child and not be 15 minutes late. Im not happy.

I have had problems for many months getting a critical medication delivered by UPS, I have complained many times to no avail. My spouse requires a critical medication costing $9500 a month. The insurance will not authorize it until only a few pills are left, UPS does not deliver in time for the medication to be administered in spite of the fact the pharmacy makes it an urgent overnight delivery. It was supposed to be here today by 10:30AM. It is now 2:30PM and the package is not delivered. This is a perpetual problem that has never been resolved over the past year. Because this is a specialty drug, local pharmacy.

You might try complaining to your insurance company to explain the problem. You might also request they ship via FedEx instead of UPS.

You might also, prior to calling the insurance company, take a look at your info from them regarding problems, appeals, and complaints and what to do when you have a problem with them. You can also complain to your state's insurance agency----the one that regulates these companies.

Untruthful and Rude Corporate Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
UPS corporate customer service based in Atlanta is the most rude, insolent and untruthful customer service I have experienced in my 76 years of life. For two consecutive months they screwed up delivery of my disabled spouse's critical and llfe-sustaining medication. Last month I spent three hours on a wild goose chase driving to locations I was given to pick it up that were in error or bad directions. This month they left a notice of the door to sign for next day delivery. It did not come. I called and told it It was at a location with an address on the delivery notice I could not find. The pick up point was a dry cleaners in a shopping center five miles away but this was not specified on the notice. When I finally located the dry cleaner (with no indication it is a UPS pick-up point) they informed me they did not have the package in spite of providing a tracking number. I called customer service again and was told the package was there. I tried to pick it up but was unable to do so because I did not know I needed Alan's ID. Corporate customer service gave me a name of the supervisor there but when I called I was told there was no such person. When I asked a Representative to call the distribution center for me to track the delivery she rudely stated " I am not your personal assistant," When asked to speak with her supervisor she informed me the supervisor does not receive or return calls. So there is no recourse. Twice over the two months of difficulties I was told "Jim" would call me from the distribution center. I never received a call. This is only a very brief summary. I have extensive notes of my contacts and the rudeness; including the fact I was told by several corporate customer service "managers" they could not provide a number for the distribution center of UPS where the package was located. The attitudes of some (not all) of the representatives were rude and untruthful. When I asked Jasmine if she could contact the distribution center she said she could not. When I asked her if she "could not or would not" she responded rudely she would not, Tina told me twice she would have Jim call me from the distribution center. I informed her I never received a call. She then told me she did not tell me that but I asked her to go back and listen to the recording of the call. I am sure she will not. Those are only two of many incidents of untruthfulness and rudeness. Since it is difficult to hear our door bell and my spouse has multiple disabilities including hearing, I left a note on the door and left the door open. The package came but the driver stated he had to call the distribution center because our apartment number was not on the address. (UPS has the apartment number and it was confirmed many times). I had a problem with a delivery of a package from FedEx over a year ago and they could not have been more helpful and sent me a check for my inconvenience. Likewise, there was a problem receiving a package from the US Post Office and Customer Service followed through in a thorough, prompt and courteous manner until the issue was resolved; including calling me back with updates.
