Shipping With UPS will cost more than items are worth

I shipped 2 packages today from a UPS store in Ft. Myers, FL. One package weighed 1.38 lb. and measured 7X7X7. The cost was $11.92. This package was going to TX. Package two weighed 6.84 lb and measured 16X13X12. The cost was $30.95. This package was going to WV. How on God’s green earth could this be correct. I now understand the entire concept of shopping online. I will Never, I repeat, Never use UPS delivery service again. The clerk was correct when he said “ You shouldn’t ship that doesn’t cost a lot”.

I have a feeding tube for nutrition. My nutrition is shipped on the 14th.Since the day I stared getting them i could not get them up the stairs. I cannot carry anything more than 5 lbs, For 7 months I called and cried and ranted to no avail they were left downstairs, it rained on them and a few times it stayed outside because no one lives closeby. The final straw was when it was left in the sun all day and half the next.We now use fedex' . at least they come upstairs will never use again if I can help it.

They dont even deserve one star. They should be put out of business. I sold a brand new never used washer on Ebay and sent it with ups, worst decision of my life! The driver that they sent was a little old man who had to stop and take his inhaler (even though my husband was helping him to take it to the truck). The washer was well packaged and labelled and when it arrived at the customer's it had appeared to have been thrown off the truck and rolled down a hill then stomped on. We drove 90 minutes down to the customer's to see it for ourselves and it was a disgrace. We had to take it from them and issued them their full refund. We called ups about it and they took one whole week before someone came to get, which they still did not take it because it was now unpackeged, instead, they sent someone out 4 days later from their assessment team (who had no idea how anything worked, which he said himself). The verdict- They cannot be held responsible for the damages because it was not packaged to their standards.... note- The washer was cartoned with styrofoam on the sides, bubble wrapped, boxed and insured with them for damage. UPS is a fraud company and I do not advice anyone to use them.

Less than reliable service

Post it on from door states "Sorry we missed you..." Dated 11.06.19-Box checked with UPS portal access point location indicates package will be left next delivery date by 1pm-Arrived @location and agent states package never arrived (the time was 5:30pm) Called UPS while outside the store, agent said package WAS delivered to access point and "Must be picked up by 11.14.19". Re entered store with agent on line, store operator confirmed with ups agent that package never arrived as there was no signature of receipt.

UPS agent apologized saying she was mistaken, package was returned to processing center and would be delivered to my residence. Checked for status today:Please check back later for scheduled delivery. It is almost 24 hrs and there has been no update. Also, no option for "Real time tracking".

Called and was told the package "Redirected at customer request" WTH This is completely untrue. Agents answering customer calls appear to be reading from a script and offer no assistance.

My employer no longer uses this company due to a similar incident involving checks sent to an off site location. After several days the package was located by UPS and we were told the package was "in the truck and missed by the Driver".

In my opinion, this company is so large they have no concern about the consumer...

Don't expect good service every time

For about a year, when ordering from Amazon, the packages may or may not show up at my door. I have given explicit instructions but somehow they either end up in front of a vacant apartment next door (outside) or one of my neighbors has to bring it.

It had gotten a little better for a while, then sure enough, one landed at my doorstep and one was left next door.

Amazon responds by giving me a $5 credit, but when it happens over and over where is the improvement?

I really have no recourse since Amazon uses them exclusively near as I can tell. Just so tired of it!

So if you're tired of it use an Amazon locker delivery. Or don't use Amazon. It's obvious by this point neither UPS nor Amazon are going to change and yet you are repeatedly banging your head against the wall every time then wondering why you have a headache.

So "victim blaming" is your response? It's true it seems crazy, but why shouldn't I expect service to improve after so many complaints?

At this point I have accepted things will probably not improve, especially during holidays. Holding out hope that UPS will get a clue.

Shipped out an envelope for 17.00 - came back looking like it was run over 600 times. Won’t reimburse me - transferred me 5 times and told me it’s not their fault. Document inside was ruined - must be re notarized and reprinted. Never again UPS / I am horrified by your customer service and lack of commitment to quality.

Driver claimed package was undeliverable because no one was available to sign for package. Total misrepresentation of the facts, some might even call it a lie, just saying...… I was sitting on my porch at the time the driver pulled up, backed into my driveway, sat for about one(1) minute & drove away. No / zero attempt was made to deliver package nor was an attempted to deliver notice left

Received notice that my package would be delivered on 12-11-2019. Never delivered. Then each day after was promised delivery for the following day. This continued for 5 consecutive days. I called customer(so called) service and was told " sorry but cannot guarantee delivery on ANY date" That I would just get the package when I get it. Last tracking entry showed that they had handed the package over to the US post office for delivery. I still do not have it. Horrible company and rotten service.

Maybe you could hire a homeless person to hang out in front of your house everyday so that they can receive your package for you. You can call the folks at UPS and text them a picture of them so that they know the package can be handed over to them.

I'm sure that they would be willing to do this in exchange for a hot shower everyday and a few cooked meals. You could even let them set up camp next to your front steps so that they would always be there.

I order and paid for 2nd. day air which UPS states on the site guaranteed 2 day delivery to any home in the US. Today is Monday. Friday tracking said out for delivery...didn't arrive...Sat. out for delivery...didn't arrive....today Monday said out for delivery...still not here. Their 800 number is useless, they said the same thing every day. Unfortunately, the company I dealt with uses UPS, but I think the Post Office would have been better.

UPS drivers do not make any attempt to deliver packages to our home in Firestone, CO but instead dump all their packages off at our local USPostOffice where the package is then returned to sender

UPS drivers are lazy and make no attempt at all to deliver packages to our door. Instead they simple drive 2 blocks away to the Post Office and dump all their packages off there. Then USPS returns the package without telling us because it doesn't have a PO Box number BECAUSE UPS DOESN'T DELIVER TO A PO BOX. This crap has been happening for 2 years. UPS drivers around here are lazy USPS allows them to be. Such a damn scam.

If it's been happening for two years, and happens every time you order from UPS, that's on you. It shouldn't take two years for someone to go "Hey, I'm not getting my packages from UPS, I should use a different carrier from now on."

I have more trouble with ups than any other delivery service! I have ups my choice but the drivers do not read directions! They throw them in an unsecured area ! Totally inappropriate! I take usps smart post or fed ex or usps any day over ups! Company and staff sucks!

It's too difficult to pay the invoice tax online

There is no clear steps appeared to be in the website, in contrary i need to call the customer case in order to get th payment methods and other details. It takes too much time to do.

Read read read and following the instructions

I have a note on my glass screen door instructing any boxes to be place in the box I provided on the porch to avoid from being stolen. I'm watching the driver on my cameras as she read the note and then push the box on porch and left. OMG! This is way so many items are being stolen. I have video footage to support my complaint. This just happened today 01/10/2010 around 4:03 pm.

Do not go through UPS at all

I had sent a package out to a friend and they did not send it to them. Instead they shipped it to Kansas and now said it is fraud. And when u call them they make u wait and when u either text the CEO he send it to other people to deal with. I been calling and texting them and they make up all kind of excuses So I will never send anything out with UPS
