UPS - Cussing in my mind the entire time.

My grandparents live in a small house on a 70 acre farm pretty close to the middle of nowhere. I ordered a desk for them as a gift. On the day of expected delivery I checked on the tracking to see its whereabouts, I was ecstatic to find out it has been delivered! I called my grandparents to see if they got everything okay, but they told me they didn't receive anything. I checked on the tracking again to find that the package was delivered to their garage, which is not attached to the house. They walked out back to their garage which is 30 feet away to find nothing there. However upon looking out another 30 feet away from the garage there laid the desk. Furious I called ups customer service not understanding why the package simply couldn't be left in front of the house. I was told that there was nothing that could be done and as long as the package is on my land then it would be considered delivered. They also told me that the ups man could have done it on purpose to hide the parcel from thieves. Thieves who will find this secluded farm and carry away a 132 lb desk? Pretty impressed ups, you come up with all possibilities. I'm mostly impressed with how you drove onto the property to leave the package at a hidden location, call it the "garage" and didn't even bother to knock to let us know. Guess we live in an era where people define "garage" differently. Didn't arrive until 7:35 pm, it's just sloppy if you ask me. Just felt like sharing.

UPS Failed to keep its promise

I ordered something from Amazon for an office holiday party for 14 Dec 2016. I paid for next-day delivery, for 13 Dec 2016. I got two emails from UPS stating the package was scheduled for deliver on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, between 11:15 AM and 3:15 PM. Three hours later, I get an email stating the delivery date had been changed to Wednesday, December 14, 2016. I called customer service to find out why. They fed me a line of nonsense, saying the package arrived from the shipper at 9:23 PM Monday night, so there was no way UPS could possibly deliver it on Tuesday because there just wasn't enough time. I pointed out that I got TWO messages CONFIRMING a Tuesday delivery, then a change without any reason given. Got the same line of miserable garbage about there not being enough time. I pointed out that UPS pretty much runs 24/7, even thought they don't DELIVER on Sundays, planes and trucks are still moving freight, so when the package arrived at a particular point on a Monday night is pretty much irrelevant. More fertilizer slung my way by a customer service rep who now sounded exasperated. I just thanked the lady for her time and ended the call before I totally lost my composure. If she had told me it had to be delayed due to a high volume of holiday shipping, I could have understood that. If she had said there was a problem with sorting/handling, so the delivery got delayed, fine, it happens. Either of those situations would have left me annoyed, but understanding. Instead, she fed me a line of complete BS, thinking I was *** enough to buy off on it. That left me flat pissed off. She just contributed to why people jokingly refer to UPS as "OOPS." At least Amazon was cool enough to refund me my shipping charges, since now the package falls under the free 2-day shipping. Include a reason for a necessary change of delivery, rather than just "Hey, you won't get the package you're expecting, we're not telling you why, customer service is going to lie to you, so suck it up."

Details
Paid an expensive fee to have my package delivered to me by 10:30 am, and did not see that package until after 7pm that day. Needed it to complete a presentation worth 50% of my graduate class's final grade, which I failed. Spoke to many people who promised to get back to me and never did. No refund. Would NEVER recommend for anyone trying to get a guaranteed package quickly.

UPS - Where's the package?

What happened to UPS? I paid for 2nd day, and a week later the package didn't arrive. When I called the sender, they gave me the tracking number. The sender sent it out right away, it was billed for second day, but it took a week to get to the delivery truck. And... It wasn't delivered! The driver brought it to a UPS store that's only open to 5:00. If I wanted to drive all over town to get my items, I would bought them locally. If that's not enough; they were rude, when I was polite. I used to think that UPS was the best service. I'm highly dissatisfied with their service.

So apparently UPS ONLY makes one delivery attempt. If it's Friday' you have to wait til Monday or Tuesday to pick it up from your local UPS Store...from now on ALL my packages are coming or going via USPS or FedEx - both of which seem to give more of a *** about their...

Yeah. Or maybe they aren't allowed to leave packages with neighbors based off of a handwritten note.

How in the living heck would the driver know if that's your signature or not?

UPS - Speeding with 15 miles per hour posted signs.

Constant abuse of the speed limit in our community by your ups drivers.We have numerous signs with a 15 miles per hour on them.I live on the callaway bulivard at the highlands of Scotland yards in dade city .The ups drivers constantly use this as a race track.No consideration for people who live here.They go very fast by my house almost every time they come into our community.I estimate them going at least 35 to 40 miles per hour.Someone someday will be hit by them I hope it's not me.Where is their consideration for safe driving.I know they have a scedual to deliver their packager in a timely manner.Not in a manner that they have a chance of hitting someone.Please tell your drivers about obeying out speed limits.

SHIPPED out printer from fl item was dropped and broken ...filed a report with the shipping store with pictures ...nothing ...item comes back to me ....i recycled it .day later they come to my house to pick it up ..never told me to keep it or it was coming back to me ...never bother to call me ..i call the store ..said they should of checked it and send it to the store ...but seeing they didn't ..i lose ..felt like I was use and taken advantage of...no sorry no nothing ...i even to take the loss on the item $35...but would like the $35 shipping refunded or a credit ...I got nothing ...not even a reply
