Expecting shipment of Christmas gifts via UPS. Expected delivery day was Dec 23, 2016. PERFECT! I thought. Dec 23 came amd went - no delivery. Checjed delivery status and learned the Christmas gifts I ordered had arrive at the UPS Hub in my city on the evening of the the 23rd. The 23rd was a Friday. Ok, I thought, at keast I will get the gifts by the 24th (Saturday), just in time for Christmas on Sunday. But nooooo. They don't deliver ground packages on Saturdays, not even for Christmas! So, my Christmas gifts are sitting in the UPS Hub less than 2 miles away from where I live! I tried calling them to see if I could run over and pick up my own packages so I'd have them for Christmas but they are closed! Their new delivery estimate, after being "so sorry" the delivery is late, is Tuesday, Dec 27. A lot of good that does! I realize there were tons of shipments from online purchases this season, however, one would think the major delivery services would try to accomodate (like, by perhaps making an exception to the no Saturday ground delivery rule for Christmas deliveries, especially when they were late on the delivery to begin with!) I'm so disappointed I will have very few of my gifts to take to my family's Christmas gathering tomorrow. Especially the gifts I purchased for my autistic nephew and my 90 yr old mom.

UPS - 2 days in the depot

I had a package sent that arrived on Thursday to a branch depot to be set out for delivery on Friday, it was never put on the truck! I am guessing the truck was to full to get it on for delivery the next day. Now have received word that I will not get the present I ordered until Tuesday, 2 days late. It was ordered in enough time to get the delivery to my house. If there had been notification that they were not going to be able to deliver, I would have drove to the branch and picked up my package. I will ask my suppliers in the future to use USPS or Fed Ex to make sure I get what I order on time. Had I known they could not handle the delivery, I would have went with a second day air.

I went to Inverness Florida ups today, 12/24. and had the most arrogant ignorant man make believe he was waiting on me. He wanted to charge me $257 to ship a speaker that usps charged me $37.15. On top of that he tried to sell me a carton that was three times as large...

A couple of years ago I wanted to send a small under a pound item to the next county in New York and UPS wanted to charge me almost $40 around Christmas ! I sent it USPS for under ten bucks -

Paid $12 to have my package delivered by 12/23. Got an email saying delivery would be between 10:15am & 2:15pm. I came at 8:11pm when no one was home. Called this morning and was told id be called back within the hr and told when i could pick it up from the facility. 3 1/2 hrs later i called back to wait on hold for 30 minutes and be told they still dont know where my package is and would call me in an hr. I asked for a supervisor and was told he was busy while i heard people in the background sounding like they were having a party. I will NEVER use UPS again and either will my company from now on since im the one incharge of the shipping decisions. This would never have happend with FedEx!!

UPS in San Rafael, California - No tracking update on the site and two different responses.

I ordered a product from Walmart and the UPS delivery said it would be on Dec 23. I also ordered something from Macy's and the same date of Dec 23 was given. Neither of these deliveries happened and there is no update on the site. There is no update for my delivery on the UPS tracking site from Dec21 at 3:33pm. I spoke with a tracking team member who promised to email me the update. Never happened. Broken promise. I also chatted with someone and that person said that she promised that the package would still be delivered tonight. It is 9:20 pm EST. I was also told that my package would be delivered Dec 27. I was promised another Dec 23 delivery that is now stating Dec 27 delivery. No one ever let me know this was happening.

I wil never use UPS ever again, they are the worst company to ever use to ship your packages. The drivers lied about 3 delivery attempts and did not leave a yellow note not once. My mom was at home all 3 days and even waited outside.!Also the agents are very rude and don't care about you or your service with them. They have definitely lost me a a customer

Costco had a last minute gift deal with express overnight shipping with UPS. UPS received the package in time for normal overnight delivery but they, by their own admission "miss-sorted" my Christmas gift. They found their error and scheduled it for delivery the day after Christmas even though there is time for a Saturday delivery. They refused to do so because they do not do Saturday delivery "Overnight Express" even when it is their fault a delay was created. Contacted customer service and tried to escalate...pound salt. Terrible customer service = pissed consumer = social media = 1000 nodding heads who will not choose UPS. For me, USPS is the most reliable, trustworthy, cost-effective package shipper in the US. Tell Congress to keep their hands off this precious quasi-public treasure.

UPS - Use Any Other Shipping Company If Possible

We have constant issues with UPS which started about 2 years ago when they "delivered" a package that we never received. Mind you we receive upwards of 8 - 10 packages a week all throughout the year with no issues. But, since we reached out to UPS for the ONE TIME that we had an issue, they forced signatures for delivery. I try to avoid this as much as possible with their UPS "My Choice" but it does not always work. Really? 2 Years and we are still having issues with UPS. It's like they did not believe us when we said we did not receive the package. You mean its not possible that UPS made a mistake? Really? In any case, my mother-in-law sent a Honey Baked Ham with "No Signature Required" and UPS forced a signature and did not leave the Ham. The box is marked "Honey Baked Han" and "Perishable". Well, that pretty much sealed the deal on that one. If we ever get it, it will not be edible. Thank you very much UPS for deciding that someone needs to sign for a ham. There is no one to help when I call, no one takes responsibility for anything. Worst Customer Service ever.

This a second time tjis happeneour packages were just drop by the fence beside our garbage containers.our first package is a box of steaks even though it was wrapped with plastic it was soa. ked it was delivered at 4:15 pm i found it by 5am after the sender asked me if i receive the package.the steak was already thawed.then the next package was just this evening same thing they just left by the fence beside the garbage.it can easily be reached by pedestrains.why can they just bring it to the porch.no wonder a lot of complains.pls.let your workers know this.this shows it wad the same person who delivered our packages.thanks for checking this mattet
