UPS *** snow policies

We get even an inch up here in Evergreen up in mountains west of Denver at 7000 feet and UPS calls it an weather "emergency" and wont deliver I paid for overnight and they wont reimburse me for the item i desperately needed for a project next day. Fedex always shows on these mild snow days as does Post office. If you know you work in snow and you have trucks that dont go in snow GET NEW TRUCKS that will. Either that or you hire PANSY drivers. You call to ask or complain and you get foreign phone workers who dont understand or could give a rats *** about ur problem.I despise this company and request other shippers when possible when buying now

Ups Snowflakes?

Had 2 inch of snow in Omaha Nebraska and they called off delivery, product was in Omaha. but they call it off, so much for two day delivery that I paid for they said it should be no more then three days extra, but our mailmen and woman manage to get their work done on Friday and I get my mail late in the afternoon and they did their job. I guess they (ups ) hired a bunch of delicate snowflake. isn't that special. That alright, this is why drones will hurt their bottom line. And then our product will start to be delivered without damage

I used to ship handpainted and handmade footstools via UPS. I would spend about $35 on the packaging, bubble wrap, double boxes, tape - lots of strong tape.

Then I would insure the boxes. UPS would damage the boxes through what I assume was rough handling. Sometimes it looked like they ran over the boxes! They would pick up the damaged package, hold it for weeks, then refuse to pay the insurance claim because they said the item was inadequately packaged.

They're horrible.

They never pay their claims.

I would walk my packages to their destination before I would use them again.

USPS may be sloppy with their delivery, but they pay their insurance claims quickly and without any BS.

I order all office supplies, furniture, equipment, etc, for my office. I am the person who decides what vendors we will and will not work with. As of today, I will no longer send anything via UPS, or order anything from a company who does. I ordered a file cabinet, and the provider sent it via UPS. It arrived damaged so I refused delivery. I contacted the provider arranging return and replacement order. Today it was delivered. Once again it was damaged, but what was and is unacceptable, is that they drive around the back of our building and left it by a door unattended. They didn't even go inside to try and have someone sign for it. I called UPS and filed a complaint. The person's supervisor called to "explain why this happened." He said its because no one was there to sign for it. I told him that was baloney, and he was but wasn't taking responsibility for it. There's no reason for someone to do what UPS did, only an excuse and that's what they were trying to give me. I am going to call the provider back and tell them NOT to use UPS. I do not use this kind of language in a business related matter, but for the first time I am....UPS sucks, I swear, the whole company sucks. I hate to see any company go out of business because it means job loss, but it would make me happy to see that happen in this case.

UPS literally sucks

I ordered a new iphone 7. They were supposed to text me updates when it went out for delivery so i could be home to sign for it. I got nothing. They came and no one answered because we weren't home. An attempt was supposed to be made on monday and we made sure someone was here, it never came. Now they have lost the package and i still have no package it's been over a week now. They are still trying to find it. Everyone on the phone tells me something different each time and no one really knows what is going on. I have another patagonia vest coming UPS as well, and that package is delayed now because of a late trailer? this is ridiculous and if i could never use UPS again i would.

UPS delivery service is anti cumsumer

UPS will only make one attempt to deliver a package now that needs a signature, because they are too cheap to make another attempt. So they drop your package off at a UPS store and you have to go out of your way to pick it up. Not only that, it seems like UPS is making deliveries on my street every evening around 5 pm, but if they have a package that needs a signature, they come during the day when no one is at home, and won't try again in the evening. I believe this is an attempt to discourage companies from sending packages that require a signature and make you spend your time and gas to retrieve it. UPS is not about the customer, they only care about what's convenient for them.

So just like you, UPS works during the day during normal business hours. If UPS started deliveries at 5PM when people were home from work, many people wouldn't get their packages until 8-9 at night.

I don't know about you but I don't want UPS knocking on my door at 9 o'clock at night.

You could always have the package delivered without a signature required and then they would drop the package off at your house if no one is home. But I'm sure you'd have some problem with that too.

What has happen to the service at UPS. They are horrible. My last two orders have arrived after 9:00 pm and now the roses I ordered for my wife have not arrived. The holidsy is over before they order. Planned to give them to her at dinner and they failed. I will no longer order ftom anyone who uses UPS. Thanks for nothing UPS. and yes I know - you could care less
